Does anyone else experience a slight white cast when using the skin1004 sun serum?

every time i’ve used this spf, it seems that it starts with a sight white cast the first hour or so. and i have fair skin! maybe i’m putting too much product on at once? idk. i always use 1/4 teaspoon and put that on in two layers. it doesn’t show up for the first layer but it does for the second layer. i’m a little nervous because i haven’t seen anyone else say they have experienced this and i bought it from amazon. it was from the official skin1004 seller/store but i’m still a bit paranoid edit: just want to pop in to say that this is one of my favorite spfs at the moment! the finish this one leaves me with after it dries and after the slight white cast goes away within the hour (which it always does) is GORGEOUS. seriously makes my skin look so good. the slight white cast isn’t anything that would stop me from using it or even repurchasing it. also i want to note that i don’t use anything under my spf in the mornings, so that rules out it being another products fault

yes I have!!!! Despite being one of my favorite sunscreen, it leaves me a very slight whitecast. I have medium skin. What weirded me out was that some bloggers with a darker skin tone than me didn't experience any whitecast and I learned that it is perhaps due to our undertones AND a certain hybrid UV filter called Methylene bis-benzotriazolyl tetramethylbutylphenol.

this is very reassuring and helpful, thanks! the slight white cast definitely isn’t anything that would stop me from repurchasing the spf, especially because i noticed that it does go away on its own within an hour, but i was getting a little worried because i saw absolutely nobody else mentioning this!

I'm dark skinned and I had zero white cast. make sure you don't have too many layers prior.
