LRP vs Avene

Le roche posay cicaplast OR Avene cicalfate? Mostly for scars and healing scabs post acne.

I absolutely love both but for strong and quick post acne repairing, I'll chose Cicaplast! Especially the new version "B5+". Cicalfate cream and Cicaplast cream are very similar. Cicalfate's emulsion is lighter and very nice for daily use. I currently use it on top of my moisturizer for skin barrier maintenance and moisture sealing, it's amazing. But I don't have any acne scar so...

I haven’t tried the avène cicalfate emulsion because generally I use the balm version, and compared with the LRP one I’d prefer the latter texture-wise, although the avène balm provides wonderful hydration and protection throughout the day without being heavy, which I cannot state for the LRP one as sometimes I could really feel it on my skin! I love them both though and they do wonders for the skin!

Avene cicalcate gets my vote. Its creamier and spreads nicely. I have also used it first hand when I introduced Prescription strenght tretinoin on how soothing it is. Not to mention its cheaper and 100ml tube is readily available unlike the LRP where the 100ml tube is only available in europe.
