period breakouts

A few days before my period starts, I usually get pimples on my forehead. I‘ve read that it is due to estrogen level/ hormones and breakouts are unavoidable. 😑 (I already use some BHA, AHA etc) But it sucks that they come back every month and you have to wait for them to heal on their own or just squeeze them. Do you guys have any tips on how to reduce/control the breakouts a bit? Which products work well?

I got this monthly hormonal acne too. What works for me is the combination of benzoyl peroxide and tea tree products. Together, I am able to surpress them, though sometimes it doesn't work🤣

i get this too but it's usually on my ckeeks and chin.. And for that week I usually focus on soothing, spot care products. I love to use those essence/toner infused pads, I just leave them on the troubled areas for 5-10 mins instead of a toner and twice a week I do the same with bha-aha toner. Also I try to use really light texture products for the whole week as I have oily skin and on when I'm on the period it gets even more oilier.

I get hormonal acne on my jawline and chin every month without fail 😭🥲 takes forever to heal them. I use a spot treatment and pimple patches to treat them. For prevention, I use salicylic acid and niacinamide but they don't always work. I'm currently looking into supplements to help balance the hormones.

For me the only thing that really worked was going on a contraceptive pill. So best to talk to your doctor. Really don't recommend popping them - instead go for soothing and moisturising to prevent it from getting worse or leaving marks afterwards.

I usually have them to, what works for me was using products to try prevent them. I use mandelic acid or azelaic acid, both them work well on my skin. And i always use products that going to keep mt skin hydrated and my skin barrier good
