Fragrance in skincare?

Fragrance is commonly used in skincare to make the costumers experience feel more fancy and elegant. If not that, it’s usually for covering up bad smelling ingredients (correct me if I’m wrong). Do you appreciate fragrance in skincare? What are your opinions?

I have rosacea and fragrance in skin care flares up my redness. I definitely avoid it.

Fragrance is no problem to me as long as it's not so strong-scented that I feel like I'm applying perfume on my skin

Oily/Resilient

My skin is not sensitive so fragrance has never irritated my skin although I do make sure fragrance is not added in the products I get. If the product really speaks to me and has fragrance I will typically still use it. I do make sure it is listed towards the end of the ingredient list, if it’s high up I’ll skip out. I rather have a “natural” smelling product with clean ingredients than one packed with fragrance for the experience. If a product has no fragrance added but still has a pleasant scent from the ingredients, I liveeee for that!

i wish i could use it cause some of them smell sooo good. unfortunately, i have atopic eczema so i try to avoid them. i feel that essential oils give me a worse reaction compared to fragrance though 🤔
