The Ordinary Mandelic Acid 10% +HA

Has anyone tried this? If so what are your thoughts? I haven't really noticed a difference in my skin and even though my skin is dry, it leaves me feeling kind of greasy. Is this normal?

I have been using Mandelic Acid from TO for half a year now. I use it twice a week. My skin looks brighter now, and more glowy the next day after use. Due to its formulation, it is slow absorbing and has a greasy feel to it. Mandelic acid in general is more subtle, and hence it takes more time to notice a visible change (2 weeks or more).

Depends on how 'thick' you apply, the absorption time varies. Typically, I will say it took me about 10mins! It is extremely slow to absorb, so I usually apply body lotion while waiting for it. I use it right after I cleanse my face, toner/essence step.

Just overall even tone and less hyperpigmentation

It did nothing for me and I was also left feeling very greasy. But not all products or even formulations work the same for everyone. Trying it a different way, as Heehee suggested could help.

I do see a subtle change in my pores little by little by using it once a week. It's definitely greasy, but it doesn't contain any oils that may clog pores. If your skin is more resilient to mandelic acids, you could increase the frequency of usage to 3 times a week.
