Consistency, SPF, and a retinoid (stronger than retinol) can be liquid gold! Also apply hyaluronic acid to damp skin to really bind in moisture, and use a low-pH cleanser and a mild exfoliant toner before applying the rest of your chemical exfoliant(s) to enhance the latter’s effect.

I love to switch up my skincare every 6 months. I will introduce one new product at a time, so I can really tell how it’s working for me. Our skin gets “used” to the same formulas and over time they can become less effective.(This is even more likely with anti-aging products.) It’s important to be consistent with your routine and wear a daily SPF. I also think toner is a MUST and that everyone should be using a good toner if you aren’t already!
