cleansing, moisturising and protection is a key
cleansing with double cleansing (oil based than water based)
keep hydration with toner and Moisturizer
use serum depend on skin problems (me prefer anti aging or acne serum)
than in am dont forget to use spf for protection
plus if needed use spot treatment: eye treatment, dark spot, or acne spot

If you’re finding skincare overwhelming, just start back with the very basics first and you can always build from there once you are back in the routine of doing it. Start with a good cleanser, a good moisturizer, and a sunscreen that you like to use during the day. Once you feel like you can add another step, maybe add in a toner or a serum that targets something specific you want to work on.

Okay so I actually just went through this recently (past month). And I never felt motivated in doing my skincare even though I wanted my skin to be better. How I slowly gained my motivation back was by just starting with one product at a time or one goal at a time and seeing a difference even by just adding that one product alone. Since me and my skin was already at my worst I knew my skin wouldnt get worse than it already was, so only adding one thing at a time was exactly what I needed without getting too overwhelmed by all the steps which usually just caused me to lose all motivation again. I have always washed my face at least with water so it was important for me to moisturize after especially since I have dry and very sensitive skin. And I had ruined my skin barrier months prior. I started by repairing my skin barrier by using Dr Jart’s ceramidin cream. It helped heal my skin barrier within a week. I do want to say though that it does contain Shea Butter in it which does cause some people to break out (me included) but I honestly did not break out from it and I break out from almost everything. I did only use it every other day though which I think helped minimize the acne maybe? But even if I had gotten a few breakouts, I would not have minded too much since I was already breaking out currently so I figured it was the perfect time to try it. And it worked in my favor! After repairing my skin barrier I focused on getting it back to clearer skin. I have very sensitive skin and so I really wanted to start with having as minimal ingredients as possible really. I sprayed salt water on my face to also help with this. But i knew I would have to do more. I use clinique acne clarifying solution bar soap on my face 1-2 times a week (i cant link because they dont have on app) and it has helped with breakouts immensely. But it does cause my skin to get red so I have to hydrate it very well after.
I have recently run out of moisturizer though and have not got any new moisturizer yet. But I have been using an essence that I would highly highly highly recommend if you have not tried it yet. I use the BOJ ginseng essence and my skin has absolutely LOVED it so far. I have only been using it for the past 2-3 weeks and it has been my “moisturizer” since I have run out. I just use the 7 skin method (just layering it on top after each layer dries. about 4-5 times is what I do but you can do up to 7) so my skin can get the most hydration out of it. My skin has honestly never looked better in these past few months when it has been really bad and I have only been using it for such a short amount of time so I am confident that it will continue to get better with it.
I dont know if you have hyperpigmentation or acne scarring but I really like the axis-Y serum to help with that. It helps fade dark spots fairly quick in my opinion.
You obviously do not have to but I just figured I would add this just in case, but if you do want to buy the products from YesStyle.com you can use my code JENNIFER100 for up to 5% additional discount that can be stacked on top of another coupon too😊 Also sorry i hope I did not type too much but i really hope this helped! and let me know if you would like more recommendations as well :D

This time of year can always be challenging by finding ourselves staying at home more with fewer sunny days. I would start with a simple approach by drinking lots of water and using a good cleanser with an uplifting scent unless your to sensitive fragrances. I would definitely take one day at a time by adding a different step each day. Pamper yourself in the meantime by enjoying a nice bubble bath or a soothing foot soak because you're totally worth it. Before you know it, you will back to your usual routine.
