I can’t use gel cleansers

Does anyone else have this problem? I’ve tried dozens of gel cleansers and most of them irritate my face (redness, burning and/or tightness). I typically use cream cleansers, but my current dilemma- I ran out. I now have 2 oil cleansers that require a second cleanse (or else they leave a greasy residue). My cream cleanser will take quite a while to reach me, so I have to make these oil cleansers work with something else. I’m hesitant to spend money on other gel cleansers though. Even the “gentle” ones for sensitive skin irritate my face. Is this a weird me problem or have you struggled with this?

Can I ask what gel cleansers you have used? It's generally a bit unusual, but if you have extremely sensitive skin I don't see why you have to fight to use something that clearly your skin doesn't like. I'm sure there are a lot of cream cleansers options at your local shops!

yeah dry skin definitely love creamy, milky cleansers more! you can try to find a cleansing milk at your local supermarket or pharmacy. Cleansing oil followed by a milk is ideal for dry skin.

It depends on the formula. 2 of my cleansers for my skin is made for dry skin. I still have a few cream foam like cleansers that was made for oily skin, that itches my face.

yeah true, I hate when products say for all skin types when clearly some products are better suited for certain types. I’ll have to dig deeper
