The thing is that you need to seal the moisture. During the day you can skip your moisturizer and seal the lotion with your sunscreen.
You'll also need to seal the moisture at night. Try something light like an emulsion or sleeping mask.

when Japanese brands say “lotion” they mean “hydrating toner” so you would need an emulsion or a moisturizer to lock the moisture into your skin. Although if it’s humid summer and your skin is oily I will probably skip the moisturizer.
