Canadian Picky Creators - are you being selected?

Hello fellow Canadian Picky Creators, I've had my Creator account for a couple months, and applied on almost all of the few opportunities that seem to be available. Some have been stuck in brands reviewing ever since, others go almost directly into campaigns closed. I have had no luck being selected. I figure I am simply not in the desired demographic, either due to location, age or my social analytics. It feels like most likely the first 2 from what I have seen. Since those I cannot change, I want to check in with the community to see if it's the same for others, and maybe I should close the Creator account and concentrate on my regular Picky account and other projects. Or maybe it's just a case of bad perception and timing and others in our country and the 40+ group have had successes. Can you let me know your thoughts and experiences? Looking mainly for Canadian help, but feel free to weigh in if you are also experiencing frustration from elsewhere. This is a serious question, I would appreciate people not be snarky in their response. I have medical conditions that mean increased stress affects me badly. Assistance in knowing how to move forward is truly very helpful. Thank you and Happy New Year in advance!

I’m in Canada as well and most of their campaigns are not available to me. I’ve applied to all available ones since the launch of the site and was chosen just once so far…

I'm selective in the ones I apply for. I applied for one over a month or more ago and it's still under review. I applied for 2 more about 2-3 weeks ago and one is closed and the other one is under review. I haven't won any one of them yet and I'm in Canada.

Hi Sherri! I am very new to Picky. I only joined less than two months ago so I have not even reached the 10,000 points required. I appreciate your question! I will have to see over the next month or so to see what I find out from my experience and come back here in the near future.

Hi Mucci, Picky and Picky Creators aren't the same platforms. Picky (not Creators) is much easier to be selected, though it does rely to some extent on demographics and heavily on location. Earning 1000pts can be as simple as logging in daily for a week, as you collect points each time you log in, with a larger amount on day 7. While there are fewer campaigns at the moment on regular Picky, they look for a good number of people and having solid reviews with busuals and active participation helps too. Good luck!
