re applying tinted sunscreen every 2 hours

I get that we have to re apply sunscreen every 2 hours if we are outside. But wouldn’t this clog your pores when using a tinted sunscreen? Wouldn’t you have multiple layers of cakiness at the end of the day? I know it’s not as thick as foundation but it still gives me the feeling of re applying foundation. Does anyone here use a tinted sunscreen and would you tell me your experience when re applying it.

I use a tone up sunscreen that is slightly tinted. Never had a problem with clogged pores or cakiness. I’m sure there are a lot of fantastic tinted sunscreens that won’t be problematic.

I switched to clear sunscreen because of this. Also it wont clog pores all that much if we do double cleansing at night thats the whole purpose of it

Frankly speaking I don’t reapply sunscreen every 2-3 hours as I am always indoor. I choose ingredients in the skincare products that also help shield the UVA before layering a non tinted sunscreen and top up using a non clogging light sun powder SPF 50+ PA++++ may help. It work as a powder foundation and you can reapply just like putting on your compact powder which is easier for reapplication. Always choose reliable sunscreen with high ratings minimum spf 50+ PA++++ when you are outside that can stay longer.

For me... I will remove everything and put on everything back. That is how I reapply my sunscreen. I will avoid using tinted sunscreen if I put on my make up. I only use tinted sunscreen for like I am going outside only for a while but dont want to look bad 😂

You could always stick with your normal tinted sunscreen as your first application, and use a spray/mist sunscreen for additional applications throughout the day.
