Aveeno oat cleanser

I’m really trying to like this cleanser but it’s not working. How does the cleanser even work like is it actually cleaning anything? There is no foam whatsoever. I’m I the only one who feels it kinda burns the eyes. I know it’s a hydrating and soothing cleanser but it’s not soothing nothing and probably not cleaning enough and reason why I’m breaking out so much since all I do is cleanse and moisturize. And yes I know it’s like that because it has no sulfates. I just expected it to be amazing because of the ingredients but I’m highly disappointed. Anyone else feel this way?

yeah it does not foam. it doesnt burn my eyes though, maybe youre allergic to it? 🤔 i find it very soothing and gentle when my eczema is really bad. and its the only cleanser that works for me during flare ups. i think it's best for very sensitive and dry skin types.

Yeah, it’s formulated to not foam but it does have a few “surfactants” and emulsifier that helps to clean skin. I believe this is suitable for people with dry skin. Your oilier skin would prefer another formula. Cleansers are not supposed to burn or sting, so another reason why this is not for you Try something from Cetaphil, Simple, Cerave or Paula Choice which works great for sensitive skin and has a range for oily skin.

looking at the ingredients, you are correct, this is not a foaming cleanser. it looks like it's intended to be more like a physical micro scrub because it contains Oat flour and corn Starch. you are probably breaking out because this formula isn't dissolving and removing dirt or oil. try any of these gentle foaming cleansers if they interest you.
