Which one is better: Skin1004 Air-fit Suncream Vs. Isntree Natural Suncream?

Hi guys, I’m considering switching from Skin1004 Air-fit suncream to Isntree Natural Suncream, due to the Skin1004 Air-fit leaving a very matte finish on my skin and I live in the cold weather. I have a fair and warm skin tone (Asian), and my skin is acne prone, sensitive, and very oily. - I prefer mineral sunscreen. I was enjoying using the Skin1004 Air-fit but it leaves me a white cast even when my skin is pretty bright/white. It makes my face looks different from my neck tone. - In addition, I don’t like the texture, which is silicone/based and creamy/thick. So sometimes it feels cakey and flaky if my skin is not moist enough. It also peels and is hard to re-apply. - It does have so many extractions and essential oils, which I prefer not to have in cosmetics. - For the SPF verification, it’s not clear as well. There is no relative evidence that shows the % of zinc and titanium dioxide. So far I'm interested in the Isntree Natural Suncream for its ingredients and so many good reviews. But I'm afraid that it would leave a heavy white cast, just like the skin1004 Air-fit. Can you give me some advice?

Most Mineral sunscreens will leave a white cast I'm afraid because of how they work. What makes you prefer mineral sunscreen. Cause honestly if I hear what you don't like the Skin1004 Water Fit might be a much better fit. that one is awesome and doesn't have the downsides you describe from the air fit. My favorite picks would be the Skin1004 Water-Fit and the Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun, however they are not mineral sunscreen. I do like the Benton Chemical sunscreen but I would say it does have a slight whitecast and doesn't feel as light and absorbing like chemical sunscreens (you can find thw review of that one on my account)

I understand that mineral sunscreens usually leave a white cast. But somehow I had a very bad reaction with chemical sunscreen that makes me afraid to try the other new chemical ones. :( I don’t use foundation and I expect the sunscreen to have a brightening effect to make me look ready for the day, but not intensely and not hard to re-apply. I also open to Hybrid sunscreen.

I have the Isntree mineral SPF and I use it during winter since I’m a bit paler overall. It blends in very well and the white cast is not visible, but after a while it settles a bit in the creases of the eyelids so I have to smooth it out during the day. Since it’s winter (still 😢) I don’t reapply. But I think with reapplication it would get more white.

I agree with @MimiMomoSkin as to Skin1004 Water-fit Sunscreen and BOJ Relief Sunscreen are amazing for a lightweight feel without leaving behind a white cast. If you must use Mineral, Shiseido Urban Environment Oil- free Mineral Sunscreen is very effective as well.

thanks for your recommendation. The Shiseido is fine for me but it is quite pricey to use every day 😥 I usually finish my sunscreen very quickly (maybe within 1.5 months for a 50ml jar/bottle) because I apply it a lot to make sure it is enough to protect my face, as well as re-apply it during the day. I started using Korean skincare brands since it’s more affordable.

My skin is especially sensitive with chemical sunscreen, and usually caused redness on my skin. However, I have been trying more chemical sunscreens than physical. As mentioned above, I also recommend the skin1004 water fit which cause zero irritation on me. For something more hydrating, I'll choose the beplain or the round Lab birch juice. Both of those are more hydrating, zero irritation and no white cast.

I actually tried both Skin1004 Air-fit Suncream & Isntree Natural ones. Honestly, I loveeee the Isntree better than the Skin1004. There was a huge difference between the finish of both! Isntree does leave a white cast, but if your skin tone is light to fair, it won’t be that noticeable, even the finish blends into it and just gives you the brightening effect, which makes me look more refreshed. It also does a good job of oil-controlling. The finish stays until the end of the day tho. (9/10) On the contrary, Skin1004 is extremely white and makes me look ridiculously like a 🤡. Even it’s also good for oil control but too cakey for me and the finish does not look bright at the end of the day, even cakier… the sun cream contains fragrance so be aware of this point (5/10)
