Stinging/Burning sensation

Hello everyone! So I have a two step routine that works but my skin stings for some odd reason. I use the vanicream cleanser and illiyoon ceramide ato concentrate cream only(day and night). I initially thought it was the cleanser so within a month I tried about 4(all gentle ones btw). Now the moisturizer, I got the moisturizer like 3weeks ago and it literally cleared my skin. Idk if it’s the moisturizer but if it is why does it sting even if it works? Also it only stings around my mouth and chin which is super weird to me. And yes I don’t use sunscreen atm I’m trying to find the culprit so when I’m done I’ll get back to it.

Dry/Sensitive

have you been using other skincare products that can be potentially sensitising? exfoliating acids, vitamin A derivatives, vitamin C etc? or it could be your toothpaste causing irritation? 🤔 is the skin around the mouth and chin red or flaky?

No I haven’t exfoliated in months neither do I use any retinols or vitamin c(trying to heal damaged dehydrated skin). The area around my mouth and chin is dry though due to dehydration idk could that be the cause? But my moisturizer is extremely moisturizing though. It stopped the tightness on my cheeks due to dehydration so why is it not working for my chin?
