Fungal Acne?

Is thia fungal acne ? Or maybe a mix of comedonal acne amd fungal acne. I've tried AHAs, BHA and differin but I don't see a difference. I have never experienced this kind of acne, it all happened when I started wearing a mask (covid19). I am thinking about trying a sulfur mask.Do you have this problem too? Do you have any recommendations? I would appreciate it.

Fungal acne can only be confirmed by a derm, so i unfortunately won’t tell you that it is or isn’t as i am not qualified. Here are some characteristics that may help you tho: FUNGAL ACNE ▶️looks like little whiteheads ▶️all of the bumps are the same size ▶️usually in hot, humid climates ▶️usually concentrated in oily areas (t-zone: forehead, nose, chin) ▶️can itch/burn ▶️no acne treatment works ▶️treatment: anti-dandruff shampoo as a face wash or a spot mask NORMAL ACNE ▶️whiteheads, blackheads, cysts, pustules etc. ▶️pimples have different sizes ▶️can be found in different areas of the face (it may be concentrated in one area or spread through few of them) ▶️mostly doesn’t feel like anything; some pimples can be painful ▶️treatments: salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, retinol If you think it is fungal acne, i would try an anti dandruff shampoo. Nizoral is usually recommended, but head and shoulders worked for me just fine. You can use it as a spot mask on your chin area for a few minuts a few times a week 🥰

I had this condition. It looked the same on my chin. U must be stressed or use products in a wrong way? Or maybe basic skin problems. Either way do a homemade steam, and scrub it well with honey sugar n instant coffee or salt. Mix them n scrub well. Immediate results. Long term use salicylic acid or niacinamide

I cleanse my skin with an oil cleanser- klairs or banila.co - (1. Cleanser) and with the cosrx-good morning cleanser (2.cleanser). Followed by the Klairs- unscented toner and illiyoon ceramide cream. I sometimes use benzoylperoxide, differin or I cleanse my skin with benzoylperoxide wash after wearing my mask. I think that it's fungal acne though, because I sweat a lot under the mask and the tiny bumps look all the same. THANK YOU for all the recommendations ♡♡

I wouldn’t self-diagnose of course, but since the usual products aren’t working (which commonly tackle closed comedones - people can tend to mix up closed comedones with fungal acne), I’d say to maybe give these a shot, only if you cannot go to a derm since I know it’s not accessible to all. I would try the shampoo mask everyone raves about - the best fungal acne treatment shampoos contain ketoconazole 2%, as they can be used to treat yeast infections. Other studies show ingridients such as green tea can help - it is antimicrobial and anti-fungal, and help destroy bacteria and fungi spores. Benzoyl peroxide also fights both acne bacteria and yeast. You can also try to use non-comedegenic products to lessen the risk of clogging. However, remember fungal acne isn’t exactly acne so these things might help prevent it from getting worse but may not exactly get rid of it for good.

My forehead used to look like this. Clay mask works great for fungal acne also try to use fungal acne safe products tho it's not sure if it's fungal acne or not but u can try them to see if they work or not.
