Cheap Australian sunscreens worth it?

I have always read good things about Australian sunscreen because the sunscreens in their country is strongly regulated. I also saw that there are a lot of sunscreens in there that are very cheap. I have bought Woolworths Everyday Sunscreen. I had it shipped here to PH. It's really cheap considering that I paid for shipping fee and the online I bought it from added their profit that is 3 times the actual price. What do you think of this one? Is it worth it?

As an Aussie, I personally wouldn't get it. Woolies is home brand not of quality. I wouldn't trust it. I myself only buy Korean sunscreen for my face. for my body, I use the Banana boat SPF or cancer council (both very popular in Australia, cancer council is one of the best for us because it's formulated to prevent skin cancer and the money goes to funding cancer research iirc)

if you're planning on just using it on your own I feel like it might be too much depending on the size. you have to consider that after the PAO is over (which is usually 12 months for sunscreen) the spf might decrease and it won't give you the advertised protection any more. however if you think you can use it up in time I'd say go for it!

Lab Muffin did a detailed review comparing sunscreens from the three major Australian supermarket brands (Coles, Woolworths & Aldi) on her blog https://labmuffin.com/cheap-australian-spf-reviews-coles-woolworths-aldi/ In terms of protection, I have no doubt that it'll perform well considering how sunscreens are regulated over there. I guess it just comes down to the texture and personal preference.

Australia has one of the strictest guidelines for sunscreen. Although this sunscreens does meet the guidelines, it is a budget friendly generic sunscreen, not made to meet any skin type requirements or needs. so it may not suit sensitive skin, might be too thick, leave white cast and clog pores. It's more suited for your body than face. But it's cheap enough to do the trick and if works for you then yay. I personally like to use sunscreen I know is suited to my skin.

It's only for my body and I'm more concerned of it meeting it's SPF claims and water-resistant claims. Can I confidently trust its claims?
