Why is EOS bad?

Anyone have any theory about why EOS lip balms suck? Lol you are free to disagree with me, but I’ve seen many reviews saying the same thing. On the other hand, I adore their sensitive skin shaving cream and would love to try their body lotions. It’s just their lip balm I find terrible.

I blame it on their ratio of liquid oils to hard waxes and butters. I think their recipe is just a bit off on that front

yesss maybe too much hard wax. they aren’t emollient at all.

my explanation would be that it contains both limonene and linalool which are ingredients that can become allergenic and sensitize skin.

okay so I couldn't see the tagged product and I was reading EOS as Essential OilS and I was not getting the post in terms: Essential OilS as shaving cream...??? lip balm...? lmao

I had their lip balm once. It looks cute but I didn't find the package very convenient and didn't moisturizer my lips well. So I never bought again. But I never heard anything about them being "bad".

lol if a lip balm doesn’t moisturize then wouldn’t be “bad?” 😂that’s the whole purpose of a lip balm -_-

I finished one once and I didn't really like it. it just tasted good. it wasn't hydrating, the packing and multiple reapplications is inconvenient
