I just looked up the ingredients and found that ethylhexyl palmitate is on there. Its a fatty acid ester which is known to cause fungal acne. Its also pretty high up on the list of ingredients, so I’d say to stop using it and switch back to your previous skincare routine to get rid of it. Another ingredient that could be causing it is glyceryl stearate which also triggers fungal acne. I dont have the product myself though so the ingredient lists i found could be a different version, But if either if these are on the list then that could be the reason!
But good news is its nothing to really worry about as it can happen to anyone! Hope this helps :-)

Thank you so much :) if I switch back now do you think it’ll just go away by itself?
I think that ever since I’ve heard about fungal acne I’ve been a little bit scared of it cause I’ve heard it can be difficult to treat

The best thing to do is to stop using it immediately and it will go away by itself within a week or two. By the look of it, it has yet to be developed into fungal acne, looks like skin irritation for me. Try to keep your routine with basic products and ceramide cream to help with skin barrier. Dry skin types will benefit with ceramide cream in the long run, try one if you haven't.

Are you sure that it is fungal acne. I mean, how do you know? Have you seen a doctor/derm yet? In general, feeling itching is a typical symptom. I have heard that Propolis is not only nice for providing anti inflammation benefits but also for fungal acne. You could try it. Btw, stay away from fermented ingredients.

I don’t know that it is. I wanted to check with the community as I thought it looked kinda similar to the pictures of fungal acne I saw online, just not as bad. Since I realised it yesterday I haven’t gone to a derm and I haven’t really been itchy either :)
