HELP A 17 YRS OLD GIRL🥹

My current skincare routine is.. AM/PM: Glycolic Soap AM/PM: illiyoon soothing gel (recommend by @SKINCARWwithSKY) AM: Sunscreen PM: Adapalene The thing is I want to repair my skin barrier due to my acne scar and I want to achieve glass skin and a glowy look but I'm acne-prone skin and oily. (I don't want to be glowy just because I'm oily😭) Please help me to build my skincare routine I want also to exfoliate 2-3 times a week, particularly toner pads but also I want to maintain hydration for healthy glowing skin. Hope you can help me because after I joined this community my skin looks so great. Affordable and effective product that can be find in PH🇵🇭 Btw how do I put moisturizer before or after Adapalene?

The glycolic acid soap is already an exfoliant and you're using it twice a day. I don't see the need to add any more exfoliants into your routine. And on top of that, you're also using adapalene which is a strong retinoid that specifically addresses acne and can be irritating to the skin. Adding more exfoliants would be an overkill in my opinion and just cause more irritation. Focusing more on hydration would be a better option since you're dealing with harsh ingredients. Try adding a hydrating toner into your routine to increase hydration. I use adapalene too and I apply moisturizer after adapalene.

If the adapalene is being too harsh on your skin and over drying it, you can use the « sandwich method ». Just put moisturizer, adapalene, then moisturizer again.

For hydration I really like this propolis toner by cosrx! It leaves a nice glowy finish and also includes some great barrier repairing ingredients like Panthenol. It can also help with acne since honey is anti bacterial. 😊🫶 You can use this toner in both your am and pm routine! I also don't think extra exfoliation would be beneficial for you since you're already using glycolic soap which is an exfoliant. Rather focus on hydration and barrier repair! 🥰✨️

Oof, I would not use the glycolic soap everyday. Try to alternate with a gentle foaming wash.
