Try the Lions pair acne cream. It's a Japenese acne cream that blends nicely into the skin and it looks like you don't have acne cream on. If you ever crushed ibrophen and mixed it with water, it helps clear acne away. Especially hormonal acne.

Another good skincare product for hormonal acne is tretoing, retinol, or winlevi cream. However they do need a prescription, but winlevi is really good for hormonal acne.

hey love, i struggle with hormonal acne too due to my pcos and i agree it should be discussed way more often than it is. i like to use a brand called smacne which offers acne patches/sticks, acne spot treatments, and they have an exfoliating cleanser as well. all of their products have really worked well for me. i also like the brand dr zenovia but they’re a bit pricey in comparison to smacne.

There were lots of things that helped with active acne, but the only thing that has prevented it is Tretinoin. Everything else merely dealt with the aftermath.

I have used products with salicylic acid and it does work but you have to be careful about how many times per week to use. I tried LRP effaclar and it was the best to clear my acne (I saw results after 1 week of use and continued for about 6 months). However as you know, hormonal acne comes without any warning so I still use acne treatments with salicylic acid and it does work in as little as 3-5 days. I do advise to reduce use of exfoliants when using these targeted treatments because they already have exfoliating properties.
