Benzoyl peroxide work as an antiseptic to reduce the number of germs (bacteria) on the surface of your skin. It's usually one of the first treatments recommended for mild to moderate acne. So the Benzac spot treatment would have been more effective. Do you have any experience with benzoyl peroxide? I think benzac is more concentrated, the ingredient list is simple and straightforward. LRP effaclar has more ingredients and some help to buffer the more potent ones. Both are quite similar, LRP maybe more gentle if compared to benzac. Benzoyl peroxide(BP) is not effective for pimple marks, you'll have better chance with niacinamide instead. BP works best to kill bacteria.
