ROUND LAB Birch Juice Moisturizing Cleanser and Retinol

Hiii everyone ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿป So recently I was doing some research on ROUND LAB Birch Juice Moisturizing Cleanser ingredients before buying it in case of any pore clogging ingredients and I found out there is "ascorbic acid" in the cleanser. I'm on second thought right now if I should buy it or no since I'm gonna need a cleanser for AM and PM and i use 0.1% retinol at PM so I'm not sure if i should pair them both together. I would be glad if anyone can help me. ๐Ÿฅฒ

Pore clogging ingredients do not necessarily make pore clogging products. Read the article by lab muffin beauty on comedogenicity. Every product, formulation and everyone's skin is different. The only way to know if a product doesn't work for you is to actually test it out. Use products designed for your skin type.

The amount is probably very low that it doesn't really effect your skin in any way lol. Most likely a pH adjuster if anything.

Agreed its very low and won't have any effect since it's washed off.

I would get it anyway. Vitamin C in cleansers are subtle and are washed off anyway. Iโ€™m sure your skin will still be fine with the retinol.

The amount of ascorbic acid in that is very little but everyoneโ€™s skin react differently to ingredient combinations. I suggest getting a small package and trying it out for a few days to see how your pores react.
