Is K-Beauty skincare significantly cheaper in South Korea?

I'm assuming it is cheaper, but how much cheaper is it for Koreans to buy equivalent brands in South Korea compared to countries like Canada and the U.SA.? e.g. ROUND LAB 1025 Dokdo Toner is $20 in Canada.

Hi! It is much more cheaper, that is my experience. I searched the mentioned product and you can get 2 x 400ml for $15. Many times you also get extra products but less these days compared to before Covid. I always got soo many free products just walking down the street. They want you to come in to their store so they give away sheet masks etc. I really liked that! 🤗

Hmmm I wonder if that is only in person or if we can take advantage of those prices and somehow have them shipped... Thinking out loud. I'm going to look into this!

It is much more cheaper in Korea. I supposed the price is much higher in the states or Canada due to the logistics to transport the products and to get them registered. I agree with @MadeleneL that before the pandemic, we got more sales and free items. Many shops forced to close down during the pandemic, and I was told that Olive Young buy in other smaller beauty retailer chain, making it the main beauty retailer store in Korea. Even for Olive Young there's a price difference between the local and global version of its online store.

It sucks how olive young marks up their products soo much on their global site!!! If you compare the prices to the korean price there is a $20+ price difference!! So keeping track of sales helps

I've noticed that! That's why I ended up purchasing from Style Korean.
