Japan Products Exp Date?

Hello, if you ever bought skincare or makeup directly from Japan, did you find the expiry dates on their packaging? if not, how could I know if the products still good to use or not? I have few that doesn't state the expiration date whether from the packaging or website, but I could be wrong since its all full in Japanese.... I read in some articles that they said it can be used for more than 3 years if its still new and stable, but I wanted to know from you guys who ever purchased it directly from Japan or have the same experience with Japanese brands. thank you so much in advance for sharing! ** to make it clear, my products are lip balms and the brand is from Bandai (the packaging can be used to play as well since its toy-like).

Expiration date is not required on the label due to its law in Japan, if products are stored properly it’s good for up to 3 years after manufacture date. I follow some rules for products without expiration date, 6m for serum, 12m for ss, moisturizer, lip balm and toner after opening. Download the Google app on your phone can help you translate the language easily. Scan it over the text and it translates automatically.

I did taking picture using google translate to find any hint but I don't think its there:< but its released around 2021, so I think it should be fine to use it till the end of the year or maybe 2024? I mean some people might dont agree with it, but I'll use it still if the product look good still. thank you so much for sharing too!!! very helpful and informative. I'll keep that in mind 🥰
