Beauty Blender sponges are known for their unique texture, which is often described as soft and bouncy. Some users prefer this texture for blending makeup seamlessly. Real Techniques sponges have a different texture, which can feel slightly firmer in comparison. Real Techniques sponges are often more budget-friendly compared to Beauty Blender, which is considered a higher-end option. If cost is a significant factor for you, Real Techniques might be the choice.

I’ve used both products. They’re not the same but for the price of the Real Techniques sponge compared to the Beauty Blender sponge, the RT sponge is good enough for me.

I've personally never really noticed a difference among makeup sponges. I've purchased beauty blenders, the real techniques sponges, even knockoffs from the dollar store and they've all more or less worked the exact same for me! I might be the odd one out with that opinion though.

Agree! I have some that feel like the same texture as beauty blender, but I don’t know the brand. For me the cost doesn’t justify the product of beauty blenders.

Always drugstore for me. It’s way too expensive especially since they sometimes rip, and recommend to replace every 3 months or so. I used to use RT, but my favorite is ELF. I’ve tried many of them and they’re very good. Sponge trio comes with 3 different shapes. The triangle one is surprisingly my favorite - great for foundation, concealer, cream blush. The long oval is my favorite for concealer (also sold separately). They’re very soft and great price. Way softer than RealTechniques. Elf Total Face Blending Sponge is also great. It’s the same shape as the one in the trio - rounded top with flat bottom. But I find this pink one to be softer than the one in the trio set. If you just want this shape, I’d recommend this one over the one inside the trio.
