At home dermaplaning?

I usually start off with a clean face, I double cleanse as I do this at night. I then apply a thicc layer of aloe vera gel onto my face. Then with my eyebrow razor/precision I do slow short strokes motioning downwards at at 45 degrees angle or less. After that I wash my face again and go in with the ordinary alpha arbutin and the cosrx snail mucin power essence. How do you do it? 🤗

I love dermaplaning as well and do it almost the same way as you do! Instead of an aloe Vera gel I use an oil and I do not follow up with my usual routine, except for moisturizer. I feel like if I use any active ingredients on my skin the same day as I dermaplane, it will definitely cause irritation.

I do too :) usually I’d use my SA cleanser but only on this day I switch to my hydrating one. Best to stay safe 💗

I’m scared to do it myself because I have active acne, plus I’m too lazy to shave almost everything else so it feels like a stretch. I get my face threaded about every 2 months to keep it smooth (or I did pre-pandemic; at this point it’s been untouched in nearly a year)

Wow a whole year...damn...I wanna try threading for my face too no lie but I’m just scared for my eyebrows 😂 I like them how they are naturally. But Yh I undertstand too at first I was acted too but then I got used to it I do remember cutting myself by accident tho 😅 so if you ever think of it be very gentle ah and I don’t think it’s recommended to do this when you have any active breakouts sometimes I get active breakouts as well and I avoid doing anything to my skin until it’s cleared up!
