🤢Sunscreen sticks are unhygienic 🤢

Do you think sunscreen sticks are unhygienic? I have been using a sunscreen stick recently. So I reapply it over a full face of cheek tint and face powder. The sunscreen stick catches the residue of the makeup 🤢. And if I reapply it over a bare face, it catches dirt and other residue from the face 🤢. What do you think about sunscreen sticks?

I think most will give it a wipe with a tissue after each use but as far as germs go, these products have been specifically formulated by experts for this use and so we must have faith that they have included the correct preservatives for the job. I do get though, perhaps you could look into a spray or sunpact for reapplication?

Good to know! Do you need alcohol to wipe it?

Simply wiping off the residue with a tissue after using it solves the issue. That's what I usually do when using sunsticks. I wouldn't worry too much about it being unhygienic as brands ensure their sunsticks are tested and formulated with preservatives to prevent any unwanted microbial growth.

Yeah they are not the best, but they are meant to be used when there is no option of using an typical sunscreen in a tube. In those instances either your hands are even more dirty or there is no bathroom around etc

I do agree to you, cause we will never know about those germ that stay on face. Yes its kinda protect our face from UV light and so on, but how about those germ or oil or anything that stick to our face? I prefer spray sunscreen rather than stick sunscreen.
