Dry/Sensitive
Hi ,
To address Post Inflammatory Erythema (PIE) like me, try products with ingredients like niacinamide, azelaic acid, vitamin C, licorice root extract, sunscreen (SPF 30+), gentle exfoliation, and green tea extract. Results vary, and it can take weeks to months for noticeable improvement. These ingredients really worked well for my PIE🫶
Centella Asiatica products, like Cosrx Centella Blemish Cream and Purito Centella Green Level Recovery Cream, soothe and reduce redness in PIE.
Niacinamide serums, such as Purito Niacinamide Serum and Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Probio Ampoule, help with redness and skin tone.
Snail mucin products like COSRX Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence and Benton Snail Bee High Content Essence aid in skin regeneration for PIE.
Mugwort products, such as Missha Artemisia Treatment Essence and I'm From Mugwort Essence, calm skin and reduce redness. Individual results may vary over several weeks to months of use.
Licorice Root Extract: Look for products containing licorice root extract, which can help with redness and irritation.Currently I'm using IM FROM licorice calming cream.
Happy healing from PIE 🫶. IT will take months to see result.

The Good Molecules Discoloration Correcting serum was surprisingly effective. Their Niacinamide toner works well too.
The Peach Slices Azelaic Acid serum works well. And I also like the Azelaic Acid serum from The Inkey List.
I feel like my skin becomes tolerant to some ingredients so I have to switch it up for better results. I've seen improvement within a few days with these products, but it's subtle. The redness slowly fades over the course of a few weeks, depending on how bad the blemish was.
