Using cleansing oils works well in getting rid of makeup, sunscreen, and oily gunk from the skin without going overboard and drying it out.
They can also be handy for sloughing off dead skin cells, making your skin smoother. Plus, when we double cleanse, it can even keep those pesky little bumps at bay especially nose area. After all, isn't it easier to prevent also keeping pores clean with cleansing oils may even help in the fight against breakouts!

Yep, because cleansing oil for me wasn't even initially about the makeup, it was to clear out gunky sebum and oil in pores. It's nice that it cleans away makeup and sunscreen, but I still definitely need to do it after a whole day.
Because it's colder now and my skin is less oily, but also dry in patches from Tretinoin, I'll sometimes skip cleansing oil in the morning. I'll just swipe over some Son&Park Beauty Water or the Acwell Licorice pH Balancing Cleansing Toner.

This is exactly my reasoning for double cleansing regardless of makeup or sunscreen as well! My congested pores have improved considerably.
I'm so curious about that Acwell cleansing toner, definitely putting that on my wishlist.

Every once in a while if I’m really tired or not feeling well and didn’t wear makeup that day I will skip the double cleanse, but usually I double cleanse every single night.
