Thanks for this detailed, informative post! I shared it with my mom as she only uses collagen products. Thanks for this list and explanations!!

You're welcome :) collagen is good since it creates film on the skin but its molecules are too big to go through layers of skin :)

Thanks for sharing some very helpful advice for us mature ladies!! I experience several issues that were mentioned such as rocasea, spider veins and loss of elasticity. Since incorporating Ceramides, Hyaluronic acid and antioxidants into my skincare routine, I've seen a huge improvement, mainly provided by kbeauty. I've also found Bakuchiol as a great alternative to retinol for those who have sensitive skin. Unlike myself, it's very true that most who have mature skin can be reluctant to try new skincare. Although my friends always comment on how much my skin has improved, they remain hesitant and insist on using products from 30 yrs. ago.

I welcome all tips on how to care for and improve my aging skin. I have fine lines in my forehead and getting around my eye area.
Also I seem to only get a breakout in one area of my skin. What products do any of you use for these ?

In general, it's good to mix techniques if it comes to forehead, once I have some free time I'll try to do photo or video tutorial on face massage techniques to share.
The best thing to do for forehead:
- massages
- if you don't have any contraindications then EMS therapy (Medicube and Foreo have devices like Foreo Bear that are safe to use at home, they work like a gym for muscles in facial area)
- antioxidants + peptides or retinol are the best combo.
If it comes to products, Some By Mi eye cream is recommended by my mom (she's 60+) and COSRX cream with ceramides - it doesn't target wrinkles but it takes care of facial moisture and barrier. I would definitely think about some retinal solution (HSGN is my favourite so far) but if your skin is sensitive then Innisfree Retinol is a good option to start with
