never ending tiny bumps, acne & skin care newbie

Hi, I just change my facial cleanser into hada labo AHA + BHA acne control. It state that the cleanser I use now act as chemical exfoliator. My question is, if I stick to this cleanser, do I still need to double cleanse? and how should I i do it? I always double cleanse using cleansing oil and water-based facial wash (simple) before. What is the right steps I need to follow if i still need to double cleanse my skin? I hope the beauty experts can reply to this question 😭😭

Well cleansers still work the same way in double cleansing. I don’t think skin is supposed to tight and itchy after cleansing. It just means the cleanser is not suitable for your skin. Skin is supposed to feel fresh and clean without being too tight. Try to instead reduce the usage to a few times a week instead of twice daily to see how it feels

If the new cleanser is irritating your skin then you should definitely replace it, it also has ingredients that are potentially pore clogging. I can’t recommend any good cleansers atm but I’m sure you could find something on here. To answer your questions, any two cleansers would be double cleansing just make sure they have different purposes, something simple to remove makeup, sunscreen and something to really cleanse the skin. You should look into things that would fit your skin type. I use micellar water and my second cleanser always alternates depending on the season and the day. Foam cleanser in the summer and something more moisturizing in the winter. 🩵🙆‍♀️

I think the product is too drying to your skin. If you notice any redness coming from the product I would suggest switching. Long term use can damage your skins barrier.
