Silicone Socks

Hey everyone The other day while I was looking for last minute things to get everyone I came across silicone socks I hadn’t heard of them beforehand but basically they are reusable socks made out of silicone (yes that’s pretty obvious) but you put them on after applying lotion to your feet so it can better be absorbed I’m extremely picky when it comes to things touching my feet so this feels like an ideal solution for me as I hate putting lotion on my feet and then walking around having little bits of dust or hair pick up or stick onto my feet When I have a shower I have “shower slippers” that I put on once I’m out so my feet won’t touch the floor Anywho, does anyone know anything about silicone socks? Are they worth it? Is there a certain one someone can recommend? Or is there a better product I could you? My feet aren’t crazy, broken out and dry or anything. But my main purpose at looking to get them was because I hate the sensation of applying lotion to my feet and then having to walk around bare foot Any advice would be helpful! I’ll attach an image of what they look like incase anyone is curious what I’m talking about :)

I use silicone socks! I use them because I have extremely dry feet and they help your skin absorb the product better. I think they’re hard to walk in though, so I put regular socks on top of them and then I’m able to better walk around while wearing them.

I have dry feet too so that’s soooo good to hear that they help you!! I was thinking the same thing with the socks, just to help keep them in place from shifting while I walk. Though I think if I wore them I’m not going to do anything crazy in them like go for a jog hahahha

I have tried foot masks in the past but they seem to be a hit or miss for me! The last one I tried barely did anything for my dry skin so I was very bummed by it I also have to watch with ingredients as many use sweet almond oil to help dry skin and I’m allergic Plus I try to be as eco cautious as I can. While silicone boots maybe aren’t the best for the environment, if I’m able to reuse them then they feel like a better option to buying foot masks everytime and throwing out the booties Honestly though if you have any good recommendations with foot masks I’d love to hear them still because I do try to be very open minded when it comes to skincare :)
