I would suggest the use of adapalene if you have consistent acne issues. Compared to retinol, adapalene is more sensitive friendly and it's designed specifically to reduce acne. I looked through your routine, and found out that you owned an azelaic acid serum. It should help with redness and acne. I wonder if it's working fine on your skin? Or that it didn't perform?

That's unfortunate. I have heard that succinic acid works well on acne for sensitive skin. There's ingredients such as centella asiatica for soothing while also tea tree products for acne. My friends with PIE swear by this somebymi toner. Read through the review and see if it fits. Else, I recommend start your journey of adapalene for results in long run.

I too deal with PIE and the ingredient that helped me the most is vitamin C and centella. I tried tret for more than two years, but it did absolutely nothing. Vitamin A derivatives only help with skin cell renewal, but PIE is caused by the dilation of blood vessels, which is a different matter. Dr. Dray on YouTube has a great video about PIE and what ingredients can help. I can’t seem to find the video, but she did mention vitamin C, azelaic acid and centella asiatica.

My skin is also sensitive and verryy acne prone so the one I’m using right one is the dear klairs charging serum. But, it’s really expensive. I tagged some alternatives that I personally haven’t tried but heard lots of amazing reviews. They’re not pricey, all found on YesStyle and other k-beauty sites, and should not cause acne.
