A variation on slugging 🐌

There is nothing more occlusive than petroleum jelly. I've tried slugging before and while I liked the results, I didn't love the heavy feeling of applying a final layer of Vaseline on my face. I thought about some of my favorite creams such as vanicream which contain petroleum jelly and thought, hmm what about mixing it into my final moisturizer instead? This method is the best of both worlds. I use just a small dab of Vaseline and it amps up the moisturizing factor without feeling too heavy or greasy. Perfect for my sensitive, tretinoin-using winter skin.
