Mine is 75% gone after adding more healthy fats and b vitamins to my diet (I take methyl b12 and methyl folate), I had a discussion with my doctor before starting. I could hardly believe how quickly it helped as it was severe and I have struggled with it my whole life! My KP is genetic but we also discovered through genetic testing that my ability to absorb certain vitamins was also impacted by my genetics, for me the two were connected. Hence why I take the methylated forms of b12 and folate, my body can’t absorb them otherwise! Your mileage may vary of course but seriously within days my KP just started disappearing, it was awesome. I apologize for not tagging a product or anything but I hope this helps!

I tried putting on lotion every night and it’s helped smoothen the texture, but the appearance is not yet back to normal.

I’ve been dealing with KP all my life and in the summer it is a reali bummer when I want to wear shorts and tanks. Glycolic Acid works wonders for KP. There is a brand called AmlactinKP that’s pretty affordable, you can get it at Walmart and drug stores. It works pretty good. Naturium also has KP products as well. Exfoliating helps out tremendously and then using a lotion with GA helps just patch test first to watch for irritation. These products can sting and itch at first but it goes away for me and after using a while it doesn’t bother me at all. Here are some to check out and see if maybe they might work for you. Good luck❤️
