I read it is good to massage the scalp to help promote hair growth and prevent hair loss. When messaging the scalp before applying oil, and after, you are warming up the skin to help absorb the products better. I read people would try to massage at least twice a day

Not a product, but Biotin is a great supplement for hair growth. It's the skin nails and hair vitamin.

I love using oils on my hair! I use a variety of oils in my hair and massage it in for atleast 5 minutes once every week. I’ll sometimes alternate between oils. I’ve noticed new growth from using the mielle rosemary hair oil for the past 4 months! I’ve used Amla oil before, coconut oil, almond oil and castor oil before. Right now I mix the rosemary, almond and castor oil together in a bowl and then apply it to my scalp and massage for atleast 5 minutes. I let it sit for at least an hour, then wash with a clarifying shampoo and conditioner. It is also important to note that genetics do also play a huge role in hair porosity/length. For me, oils help me manage my lengths and keep my ends healthy, while also promoting new growth and keeping the hair thick.
