Just wanted to mention that you can't really make them completely disappear. Sebaceous filaments will always come back/fill up after a few days. You can of course reduce it's appearance by double cleansing with an oil cleanser and use salicylic acid a few times a week. The type of oil cleanser matters too. I find lightweight, less viscous cleansing oils work better for that as compared to thicker oils.

Yep! I find oil cleansers much easier for getting grits out than balm cleansers.

Personally I find Oil cleanser more effective on clearing out sebaceous filaments, but they won't just pop out like you see on some influencers video, it's about consistency! You could also try a cleansing oil mask if you have a lot of build up that needs to be broken down (you put some cleansing oil on a cotton pad and you leave it on for 3-5 minutes before proceeding to massage and emulsify it as you normally would).
Other things that will help are clay masks (it is particularly effective after a hot shower that will open up your pores) or bha (not more then twice a week or you will damage your skin barrier).
Hope my message was helpful and good luck with your skincare journey!🥰🥰🥰

Double cleansing with these two products has been helping my pores shrink, skin looks cleaner and my whiteheads disappear. Also my toner pads with exfoliating ingredients has been helping me so much! Hard to say just one or a few products when I use these all together and skincare takes time but so worth it!
