Just got my first invite to test a product but I have to cover shipping. Still seems like a good deal but do you have to cover shipping for every test?

Walk away from that one. Something is wrong, you should never pay for PR.

I receive a good amount of products to test and have never had to pay for shipping, usually that's the first sign of it being a scam, I would personally ignore the invite

It’s actually from the brand themselves but I guess it’s another sales tactic!

That’s a scam. I’ve gotten deals to good to be true and all I had to do was pay shipping. When brands want you to test out their products they will pay for the product and it to be sent to you. I’d think twice about that more will come your way.
