The word fragrance is a bit tricky, bcs there’s so many ingredients that qualify as fragrance. And not all of them are harmful to the skin. Personally it never did anything to my skin, but some ppl can have a reaction and develop an allergy. But well we can develop an allergy to any other “non-controversial” ingredients such as HA.

I personally haven’t had a reaction because of fragrance. I know people with sensitive skin, especially people with eczema, stay away from fragrance to avoid any skin irritation. I believe the term fragrance is a little broad, but so far almost all my products have it listed as an ingredient and I haven’t had any noticeable skin reactions. :)
