Spot treatment!

I've seen this all over social media and I'm wondering if this is worth trying for. I've used different kinds of spot treatment (benzoyl/bha/sulfur etc) and they work just fine. Can anyone further explain the actives they used in this and is it comparable to the bp/bha spot treatment? thank you!

I've been using this Pair Acne cream as my spot treatment for about 2 years now. It's different from other regular spot treatments because it uses ibuprofen piconol (IPPN) and isopropylmethylphenol (IPMP) as the main active ingredients. IPPN is anti-inflammatory which helps to reduce angry, inflammed acne. While IPMP is antibacterial which helps to kill acne-causing bacteria. In my experience, it works really well on big, red, inflammed pimples. I put some on the acne and it'll subside considerably by the next day. It's a gentle type of spot treatment that won't dry out the skin around the acne unlike benzoyl peroxide, so the acne won't leave a dark scar behind. I've tried them all too (bp, salicylic acid, sulfur, topical antibiotics) and have concluded that my favourite acne treatment that works for me are adapalene, this Pair acne cream and sulfur based spot creams.

Thanks for sharing! That's my problem with bp too, the marks left behind. I'll definitely give this a try
