Usually when pilling happens for me it means that I am layering on too many products at a time or not allowing the products to sink in fully before applying sunscreen.
I would try skipping the moisturizer all together and only using the sunscreen in place of moisturizer. This may help because it seems like the spf you're using is moisturizing enough on its own! Hopefully this helps ☺️✨️

Maybe it's reacting with something else you combine with it like moisturiser or makeup. It's going to be a trial and error situation with figuring out what's causing it. However, I know 2 sunscreens that don't pill or react negatively with my personal skincare and that's these two. (Just in case you're looking for recommendations)

Two main reasons sunscreen pills:
- not waiting long enough for previous products to be fully absorbed into the skin
- sunscreen and moisturizer not compatible with each other
Try waiting a few minutes for your moisturizer to completely absorb before applying sunscreen. If that doesn't work, try experimenting with other moisturizers that you may have. Not exfoliating enough can also contribute to pilling because of the accumulated dead skin.
I've tried the Skin1004 Hyalu-Cica sun serum and it never pilled on me, even with different moisturizers. It's the same for my sister too. I hope you find a solution for this. Something must have changed since it was working fine before

Yes I was coming in here to say you might be doing something else before it. Like cleanser or toner.

I tried skipping moisturizer and it stopped pilling now ☺️ I guess the spf is moisturizing enough 😅

I think it’s not the sunscreen but some other product in your skincare, please try to skip/change the moisturiser and see what happens!
