To my understanding, folliculitis is typically not contagious unless the source is a germ. If that's the case I would avoid sharing razors and using hot tubs. If antibacterial soaps doesn't work, I would contact my doctor.

Yikes, if you’re having issues you should go see your doctor. 

My friend's skin wasn't usually bad, but the more I see it, the worse it is;;;

She's living with her boyfriend, and I saw him before that he looked like he had folliculitis. I wonder if it got infected. My friend was very upset and curious, so could you tell me?
