Did I'm from Rice Toner stung your face?

I used Rice Toner and it stung my left cheek and I knew I had to stop it right away! What was your experience with it?

stinging is a sign of damaged skin barrier. This toner shouldn't do that. Your left cheek probably did not do well with your actives

My experience with this toner is good and i like it. This toner is formulated with 77% rice extract that provides a gentle exfoliation, it also contains niacinamide and methylpropanediol these ingredients can irritate your skin if is sensitive, there’s better options for calming/soothing toners with mild ingredients, I recommend you these instead

No this actually did my skin very well for a change. But some skin types can find the fermented rice water & niacinamide a tad irritating. When I used a different toner that was rice based it did sting my skin when I first used it, but soon dissipated the more I used it.

I really like this toner! Probably my favourite rice toner. I haven’t had any irritation or stinging from it, but I recommend anyone who’s skin is irritated from a new skincare product to stop using it immediately. Like someone commented above, Niacinamide and methylpropanediol could be the reason why it may be irritating your skin.
