Trying skincare with a minimalist ingredient list

Lately I've really been into skincare that isn't a mixing pot for a hundred different ingredients. I've noticed better results when the product actually has fewer components. Also there's an increased trend in skincare lines releasing products with a limited ingredient list. What do you think of this approach? Also any suggestions for skincare products that have fewer/lesser ingredients?

Pyunkang Yul is a great brand to look at. They have very gentle formulas and always a short list of ingredients.
