Overnight gel masks, yes or no?

What do you think about the gel masks that are taking over social media rn? I have only tried Abib’s collagen gel mask but I love it! The glow 😍✨ (I have meditherapy’s blue one on the way soon)

If everything's going as planned, I have some collagen masks like these shipped to me and I'm really excited to try them! I only hope I will get a good night rest with such a mask on, I don't know if I'm gonna be able to sleep wel wearing these. Did you sleep okay? Doesn't the mask makes it difficult to fall asleep?

Like in the morning I was scrunching my face a lot to test it but it wasn’t really peeling/lifting and was dry, no oiliness/liquid on the sheet mask at all

It’s seems way too inconvenient. I’ve done cream/lotion leave on masks but this sounds like a potential contamination haven with the way I move and sleep lmao. Glad others are having fun with it though.

Yes that’s very true, a few of my friends have said it’s fallen of their face in their sleep 🤣I can sleep on my back which is great but with these they dry down so putting them on a few hours before you sleep could be the way to go?

I read from a few people and they mentioned how they don’t like sleeping with this mask since it was unconfortable. They would get creases on their face if the mask doesn’t lay completely flat on the skin. What one person did is to just leave the mask on for 2-3 hours and it was good enough for this person.

Yes! The instructions do say 20-30 mins and most will also recommend 2-4 hours or 7 hours/overnight. They dry down so I think for people who find it uncomfortable, they could have it on for a few hours before they sleep so it’s not still wet. For me the only irritating part is the strip above my lip, it’s too thick so goes over my lips so keeps moving when my lips move but once it’s dry it’s fine
