Cleansing oil: do you wash it with water?

Who else loves the Cleansing oils in general?? Do you always wash it with water after? Or take the remaining with a toner? Can’t wait for your answers 🥰

You need to emulsify the oil with water. I’m also a double cleanser so I use a water based cleanser after too. After rinsing that I do my toner.

Yes of course. The oil needs to be emulsified first by adding water for the cleansing oil/balm to work effectively. After washing off the oil, you should continue with the second cleanse using your regular water-based cleanser. This method is known as double cleansing. If you don't rinse it off with water, you'd risk having oil residue left on the skin which could lead to clogged pores and acne. It also wouldn't be able to remove/loosen sebum and sebaceous filaments unlike using water, which is one of the biggest perks of using oil cleansers
