If any company is using ‘@gmail.com’ to send business emails, it’s a major red flag because that means they most likely do not have a business domain/legit website. Please do not share your information with them or respond to this email!

I thought so aswell...I did fill out their giveaway form through their profile link on instagram but on that form they already asked me for my information so I didn't get why they'd need it again

Most e-mails I received have the brands e-mail domain, like @bentoncosmetic.com @bazzal.com and the like. But some legit company also have @gmail.com as their email domain and asks for information like that for a collaboration (like the pic tagged in yellow highlights), while some uses a google form you'll have to fill up.
If they ask you for money though for shipping or for customs or tax duty after sending your information, it's a scam. Like the picture tagged below.

There's one simple rule here: if it's from a Gmail account, it's a scam! No self respected brand uses a gmail account to do business!

Double check their email address on their Instagram bio or send a DM to confirm. Most brands use their own company domain email but there are a few that still uses gmail.

@aestheticismr hope they give you a response soon. Brands should really be using their own company email by now. Too many scammers lurking at every opportunity nowadays. It's only right for us to be cautious
