I'm a small creator, 1000 follows on IG and TikTok, but since hitting 1000 I have been lucky enough to have brands reach out to me for gifted collabs. As everyone here knows making reels takes time and I'm starting to feel like I have to prioritize my time. A pretty popular Korean brand ask if I would do a gifted collab for a trial set 30ml/ 1oz set of three mini cleansers. In my mind a cleanser is like $15 for a full size, 3 mini size cleansers is just not rewarding enough for my time. For the first time I declined a brands offer, I let them know that I was prioritizing paid collaborations and if they were interested to let me know. What do you think? Did I make the right choice?
