I have watched some dermatologist opinion about bakuchiol.
They said bakuchiol research is not as much/as long/as proven as retinol. So they still swear by retinol. Because it is definitely proven for a long time for anti aging.
But i still dont mind to try some in the future.

Honesty it sounds so good - retinol for everyone 😅😂
I’d love to see more research about bakuchiol being done in the future. Now, sadly, we don’t have enough evidence to say that bakuchiol is and does the same as retinol but I think bakuchiol is promising 😊
I had a moisturiser with bakuchiol but unfortunately there was something in the formula that gave me an allergic reaction

I've heard that harvesting the plant from such bakuchiol is derived is bad for the environment (I think the plant is somewhat endangered?), so I'm actually trying to avoid it since my skin can tolerate retinol well.

Yes, I’ve tried couple. It’s more gentle than retinol and as not as effective but it’s good alternative fur people with sensitive skin or those who can’t use retinol

Bakuchiol oil is a great ingredient that pairs well with retinol. I’m not 100% sure if bakuchiol is effective enough on it’s own. I have heard that the Herbivores Bakuchiol serum wasn’t exactly effective for anti-aging. Products that I recommend that have bakuchiol and retinol in them are listed below:
