This serum is a retinol-alternative that's supposed to help improve the appearance of fine lines and provide hydration. Bakuchiol is the main ingredient, plus it contains various plant extracts and PHA to smooth the skin. The texture is kind of like a very light gel and it sinks into the skin really well. It actually feels really nice on my skin. However, though it made my skin feel very soft, I didn't notice any changes in fine lines. I think it would be a good starting point for those with sensitive skin.
It's quite expensive plus you can most likely get better results with an actual retinoid.

I've tried a lot of items with benzol in them and they've never worked for me. But when I read about it, I couldn't believe it! It was all I wanted to do was give it a shot. I'm blown away by how well it worked on my skin, leaving it smooth and free of irritation.
Everything about it is very good

Herbivore is one of my favorite brands, from their luxurious packaging and feel to their well formulated products. This buckachiol serum, retinol alternative serum, is up there. I decided to splurge a bit for the holidays to treat myself and it is definitely worth it. The brand is vegan and cruelty-free! The main ingredient is the Ayurvedic Babchi Plant which is buckachiol! It also contains aloe vera to help with soothing the skin. It targets fine lines and wrinkles. It gives my skin a smooth feeling and am using it in my early 20s to start myself on my antiaging journey. This product is gentle enough for all skin types and is a gentle version of the traditional retinol which is known to be too harsh for senstivie skin. Retinol is also notorious for being drying but I havent had that issue at all.
This product is definitely on the more expensive end and there are very similar products at a lower price point but I did buy this specifically as a splurge product so i dont mind much. I will say this does make my skin feel tacky/sticky.

I received this product with my AIA influencer Beauty Box I got five herbivore products for $34 which is unheard of so this is a retinol alternative soothing serum it's made with a lot of good ingredients like polyhydroxyl acid PHA tramella mushroom and it is vegan and cruelty free all of their products are it's containers and box are all recyclable which is very important for our environment and this serum works very well it's very gentle for sensitive skin that's too sensitive for real retinol that's why this is a retinol alternative and it works well and it absorbs pretty good
There are some unknown ingredients in this product

This serum has slightly helped with my mild acne. It goes on smoothly and doesn’t harm my sensitive skin.
I haven’t found anything bad.

I Love Herbivore products and I own all their oils and I love them all but this is more of a jelly like serum than an oil, I just received it and normally would would wait about a month to do a review but this product is absolutely amazing I have normal to oily skin . I've used and have plenty of serums BUT THIS is one of my top serums as it left my skin feeling hydrated, super smooth and really soft and plump!!!!
The consistency is an Aloe Vera-like slime-gel (which I love). This is perfect to use with an essence It also layers perfectly with other serums , but I apply this first before the rest . (Mixed with Prism it is amazing!) Then I always use one of herbivores oils to top it off but this serum is AMAZING I CANNOT GET ENOUGH OF IT!!
Nothing My skin and I really love this serum

The brand herbivore is pretty expensive and some of there products aren’t the best. This product is in the expensive side, this product contains the Ayurvedic Babchi Plant which is buckachiol it helps with fine lines ans wrinkles. This brand it cruelty-free and vegan.
I haven’t seen any recation on my skin it is a really nice serum with no smell. It is pretty expensive and it doesn’t really work for me I do believe this is more for the fine lines ans wrinkles then acne.

I’ve heard a lot of things about Herbivore but it didn’t stop me from trying this serum. I love how hydrating it feels immediately when it hit your face & how easily it glides on. It’s supposed to help with find lines which I have on my forehead and I’m hoping to see great results!
All good but its a little sticky

Color : 💜
Texture : Bouncy Jelly like consistency
Targets: Fine lines, wrinkles, dullness uneven skin tone, and dryness
Price: $54
I’ve been using this product for a month or so and the first thing i noticed was the smell of the plant 🌱 I saw how pretty it was and used it that same day for my night routine. Retinol can be a bit drying so I appreciate the take on creating something from nature and at the same time something that hydrates the skin as well. So its the perfect alternative. 💜🌱☁️ I love the texture and the dropper is very well controlled. Overall the product helped with my uneven skin tone and made it super smooth but I only use it moderately like 1-2x a week since it is a bit strong for my skin.
Yhe retinol is a bit strong for my skin so I limited use to once or twice and it was kind of drying also so whenever I used it I just made sure to use a very hydrating moistirizer or a facial oil
